About Me
Hi, I'm Leah
I know that taking control of your finances can feel scary – but you don’t have to do it alone
Ephesians 2:10 – “…Even before we were born, God planned in advance our destiny, and the good works we would do to fulfill it!”
One of the hardest parts about making any change in your life, especially with your money, is feeling like you’re alone on the journey and don’t know where to go for help.
I know exactly how it feels to be “stuck” — paralyzed by feelings of overwhelm, confusion, and hopelessness >> because I lived it >> every. single. day.
Even though I had over 15 years of experience in corporate finance, my personal money habits were a mess. I didn’t know how to fix it, and I was embarrassed to admit it. But going through my own major financial transformation (more on that below!) is what inspired me to leave my corporate job and become a personal finance coach.
As a coach, my passion is to come alongside people just like you — those who are ready to take control of their personal finances, and want more room in their budget SO THAT they can do more of what truly matters. Whether it’s buying back your time, putting money toward your passions, or even both; I believe that when we create space in our finances, we can not only afford to do MORE of what we LOVE, but we can also afford to be more GENEROUS. And that leads to a life that’s more fulfilling and purpose-driven, while also making a real impact in the world around us!
How do I know? Because I’m doing it…but more importantly, I want my story to inspire you and serve as proof that YOU CAN TOO!!!
Guided by Biblical money principles, a few wise mentors, and old-fashioned grit, I began my financial transformation journey in 2018 and was able to pay off all my debt — including my house — in just over 3 years (and as a single mom at the time!). Reaching this financial milestone gave me the freedom and confidence to buy back my time by cutting back my hours at work – SO THAT I could do more of what mattered most — which was being more present with my son during his senior year of high school.
Fast forward to today, and I’m now happily married to an amazing man who I love doing life and chasing dreams with. We’ve continued to steward our money wisely together, which has given me the opportunity to quit my “day job” and focus fully on what makes me come alive — helping others find the joy and peace that comes with financial freedom.
I’ve experienced first-hand that this kind of freedom unlocks opportunities to live a more generous, fulfilling, and purpose-driven life.
I would be thrilled to come along side YOU on your financial journey, and help you do the same.

My Financial Transformation Journey...

This is what the “dream” REALLY looked like as I became a first-time homebuyer…
😫 Paycheck-to-Paycheck
😟 30-Year Mortgage
☹️ 5-year Car Loan
😬 $30K Credit Card & Other Consumer Debt
😖 NO Emergency Savings
🫤 NO College/ Educational Savings
😳 Inconsistent Retirement Savings
…in other words – I was house poor
And I managed to “accomplish” all of this WITH a degree in Accounting!
Fast forward a few years...
And we’re now living a life of true FINANCIAL PEACE:
✅ Living on 90% of Our Income (being generous with the rest)
✅ Paid for House
✅ Paid for Cars
✅ $0 Debt
✅ 6 Mos Emergency Savings
✅ Cash-flowing College
✅ Investing Consistently Towards Retirement
So what changed? My pride. After struggling as a housepoor homeowner for the first 7 years, I was finally humble enough to admit I needed help, and that’s when I decided to invite God into the process…and start putting Him first in my finances. Who knew the Bible had so much wisdom about money?!
I spent the next 3 years laser-focused on cleaning up my mess, and developing a better relationship with money. Dave Ramsey’s ‘Baby Steps’ played a huge role in guiding me through that process. BUT, I also blazed my own trail with a more unconventional approach to paying my house off SUPER FAST, which I love teaching my clients about!
The BEST part? Sharing this journey as a family, and passing down financial wisdom through generations. That’s leaving a true legacy!
See that vintage Chevy Celebrity behind us, complete with velvet seats and fuzzy dice (don’t be jealous)? That’s my son’s first car — paid for in cash! Because he had a front-row seat to my transformation — watching me go from being stressed out and buried in debt to finding true financial peace — he chose to start his own financial journey debt-free. Total proud mama moment! And he even caught the generosity bug, selling the car at a bargain to a friend on a high school budget.

So What's Next???
Outrageous generosity

“If you will live like no one else, later you can live AND GIVE like no one else”
– Dave Ramsey
That handsome guy over there on the right is my husband Ryan, and he’s the other half that makes our marriage a whole lot of fun! Although smiling is clearly our favorite, generosity comes in a REALLY close 2nd. We aspire to be the kind of generous that can change someone’s life…outrageously generous.
Why? Because our life has simply been a whole lot more fun – and fulfilling – when we’re able to be generous. When God blesses us, we want to pay the blessing forward. In other words, we don’t want it to stop with us. Instead, we want to be a conduit through which God’s generosity passes on to others.
So, we try to steward our time, money, and talents in such a way that, out of abundance in our own lives, we can also use those gifts to be a blessing to those we love and in our community.
Imagine the impact that could have – not only in your own life, but in the lives of those around you if you could afford to be more generous with your time, your money, and your talents!
“Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think…”
– Ephesians 3:20
“I realized that giving didn’t mean you gave anything up. Giving meant that you chose to share your means with someone else. It meant that you chose goodness and generosity and, in turn, a fulfillment you must experience to fully understand. To see the joy in another’s face from your act of kindness is far better than anything material there is.”
– Jay Washington
